Auditorium Program (Grades K-5)

Opera? No Way! is an uproarious introduction to some of the funniest moments from The Mikado by Gilbert and Sullivan, The Elixir of Love by Donizetti and The Telephone by Menotti. Children discover how the music portrays moods or actions in the story and will have memorable demonstrations of opera vocabulary, such as aria and recitative. They will even have the opportunity to vocalize just like the great opera stars do!



Audience Limit: 300

Program Length: 45 minutes

Requirements: A tuned piano or full-size keyboard

Fee: $495 one program, $810 back-to-back programs

(Additional travel fee applied if outside 60-mile radius from Pittsburgh, PA. Please call for details.)
