Through her orignal song-cycle, Modern Art Songs - With A Twist, composer and singer Eva Rainforth brings music to even the most unglamorous details of life. The result is an experience that will have you laughing until your sides ache and stopping to consider the beauty of the things you see right outside your own window.

Modern Art Songs - With a Twist have recently been performed at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art as part of the John Sloan exhibition and at The Improv in Homestead, PA as an opening act for comedian Bruce Arnold Jones.

Mezzo Soprano, Eva Rainforth, has a BFA in Music Performance from Fredonia State University , NY.  After graduating, she was accepted to The Circle in the Square Theater's summer workshop in NYC, where she studied with the late, great Richard Hughes; NYC Opera Alumna, Mariana Christos; and Gary Kendall.  She's sung leading roles with Opera Northeast, New England Lyric Opera, Popular Opera of Pittsfield, Opera on the Go, The American Light Opera Rep. (co-founder), and the New York Gilbert & Sullivan players. Eva had the pleasure to perform Pitti-Sing in The Mikado at City Center in NY and Wolf Trap. Regional theaters include, Florida Studio Theater, the Paperbag Players, Gateway Theater's National Tour of Me and My Girl, and the Papermill Playhouse (PBS Broadcast Showboat.) Concert work includes: Alto soloist at St. Francis of Assisi , NY, as well as her Carnegie Hall debut in a concert commemorating the 50th anniversary of UNICEF called "Songs of Joy, A Concert for Peace." Eva is proud to be part of the professional core of Pittsburgh's Mendelssohn Choir, with whom she sang in Heinz Hall as a soloist in the Bach Magnificat with the Pittsburgh Symphony under the artistic direction of Dr. Robert Page.  She is currently a member of the Pittsburgh Opera Chorus, performs with the Andrews Trio and is on the voice faculty of Point Park University.
